Play Breaks
Play Breaks give you a chance to take a break while your kids safely play! Children ages 5-10 will enjoy nature-based, themed play with Smith staff while adults can focus on work, run an errand, or just get some down time. These 2 hour sessions for groups of 5-20 children are held from 10am-12pm and 1pm-3pm Tuesday through Friday at Smith Memorial Playground in East Fairmount Park. Registration is $25 per child (no day-of registration). Children may be dropped off or adults can stay on the premises during the session. All sessions will adhere to the current CDC guidelines for Lowest Risk Youth and Summer Camp operations in terms of cleanliness, social distancing, and public gatherings.
Play Break Highlights
- 2 hours of nature-based themed play with Smith staff
- Designed for children 5-10 years old
- Small groups of up to 20 children with 2 adults
- Offered daily Tuesday through Friday
- Morning (10am-12pm) and afternoon (1pm-3pm) sessions
- $25 per child (10% discount for members – email us for the code!)
- Follows national, state, and local guidelines for protection from the spread of COVID-19.
